Entrance. Unassuming, but you're in for a world of OMG YOU CRY NOW.
Replica of the Yamato in the entrance lobby.
Entrance to the caves, flanked by thousands of paper cranes made by students throughout Japan.
This was the most shocking part of the caves for me. The slightly mangled English refers to Rear Admiral Ota's seppuku during the battle of Okinawa.
Ota's last words before dying, sadly illegible and there were no translations given in any of the pamphlets.
The Command Room
Another view of the Command Room, with more of Ota's last words on the wall
